                                 THE RAMSEY MILNE TROPHY

Mastrick councillor Ramsay Milne has been a staunch supporter of local junior chess for ten years. In 1996, he formally launched Quarryhill Junior Chess Club. Soon, a plethora of young chess stars began to emerge from the club, and over the next few years, no fewer than 30 players were selected to play for Scotland.
