The final event in the local cal

The final event in the local calendar this season was the Ramsay Milne Trophy, contested by 35 primary school pupils attending feeder schools to Northfield Academy.

Not only did Councillor Milne once again agree to attend the event and present prizes, he very kindly donated keepsake trophies for the first six players. The event was won by Thomas Murray after a hard fought match against Samantha George, who finished second equal with Emma Grant and Sarah Thomson. It was an excellent outcome for the girls to take three of the top four places.

Councillor Milne also presented end-of-season awards to players who had performed well throughout the season, including a joint Player of the Year Award to worthy winners, the Hall Family.
