The 3^rd Doubles Championship has been won by The Hopefuls – Sam McCallum and Robert Kemp. Just like last seasons winners, both players arrived at the tournament venue without playing partners, and paired up just minutes before the start of play. There was not much to choose between several teams going into the penultimate round, with Sam and Robert and The McDonalds (Maryann and Robert) pulling clear to make it a straight 1-2 fight for the title in the final round. In third place were the Two Ross’s, Ross Milner and Ross Bradford

 The Doubles Tournament was preceded with rounds 1 & 2 of this year’s Blitz Championship. The format for the Blitz this year is that two rounds will be played at the start of selected tournaments.
